Ezekiel 1: The Glory of the LORD Revealed--Part 1

In Ezekiel Chapter 1, God gave to Ezekiel an amazing vision of the heavens opened.

Ezekiel was lifted up to the highest heaven coming near the presence of God and saw with his own eyes the cherubims, God's guardian angels, and God's constantly moving chariot, which was the Spirit of the Lord ever turning and working, like a wheel in the center of a wheel!

This is an amazing vision, but what is the point?

When we are going through difficult times, God wants us to remember that He is present with His people and God is always at work, even in ways we can not see. So even in times of despair and confusion, we can trust in the Lord that He is there and that God is at work in the world and in our own lives... all for the GLORY of the LORD!
