Ezekiel 1--The Glory of the Lord Revealed--Part 2

Ezekiel's vision of the heavens opened in Chapter 1 is absolutely stunning!

As Ezekiel came near in his vision to the presence of the LORD, he saw the Cherubims, the special class of angels who are the guardians of God. Ezekiel also saw the moving Chariot carrying God's Spirit, turning like a wheel in the center of a wheel!

Don't stop there, because above the created firmament designed by the hand of God Himself, there is a throne.  Seated upon the the throne is One who has the appearance of a Man. 

Who is this One seated upon the throne? 

When we turn to the last book of the Bible, Revelations Chapter 1, and compare it to the prophet Ezekiel's vision in Ezekiel Chapter 1, we do not have to guess. This One seated upon heaven's throne, is none other then our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is the Eternal Son of God!

That means our LORD JESUS is right up there, seated in heaven, and is ruling and reigning over all!

The best news is that this One seated upon His throne came from heaven to earth and did everything so that all who trust in Him will be with Him for all eternity, for He is coming again soon for His People!
